Blogging seems sad when you are not in paradise anymore! I miss Miami like crazy, I want to escape again! Italy I’m coming home next week!

20 Jun

Hello dear readers,

I am always late as usual, but as you all know the jet lag hits me hard every time and makes me a bit sad and a bit grumpy, unfortunately life goes on and we can’t only live of good memories!

Miami was amazing as always or even better, we even started to get into basketball while following the last few games of the Miami Heat (I do not know a thing about basketball but let’s get into…why I can’t say basketball match anyway??? People were laughing at me!), we have been just chilling, eating, drinking and enjoying the time…plus I fell hard for an amazing hotel very close to us, the Mandarin Oriental….I love it and I can’t wait to go back there again, maybe to use the spa!!!

America treats me well I must say, people are friendly, they look at me in a funny way when they think I am Hispanic and my only words are: ENTIENDE MA NO ABLA ESPANOL!!!

Next week finally after nearly six months I am going to visit my family in Italy, it’s going to be only for a few days but I cannot wait…until the next adventure in July!

Today I was going through some nice blogs and thanks to an American blogger who followed me yesterday I discovered about.me ….why am I always behind the trends? Check me out!

Please take me back to the Cotswold: breath-taking countryside, peace, quiet, sunshine…I might love England a bit more thanks to this beautiful place!

9 May

Hello readers

I spent a lovely bank holiday long weekend with friends in their gorgeous Cotswold cottage and I enjoyed so much, the weather was great, the sun was shining, the friends and their kids were lovely and every time I turned my head I could only see beautiful open fields, gorgeous stone houses and….nothing else, the sound of the silence!!

This is such a beautiful part of the country, so many Londoners have properties here…and if it’s good enough for Kate Moss…it’s good enough for me to brave some country chic!

Coco and her two new friends loved it as well…!

Here we are with some pictures…enjoy!!!

Kos: Fun in the Sun

21 Jan

It seems that when it comes to finding somewhere that guarantees fun in the sun, the Greek islands never disappoint. And Kos is right up there with the best of them.

Famous for its fabulous beaches, Kos is a real gem when it comes to holiday hotspots. It’s got almost 300km of coastline which means there are plenty of sunbathing opportunities, quiet secluded coves and beautiful photogenic bays. Among the best are Mastichari Beach, which is home to numerous windsurfing centres, about 25km south of Kos Town. Thermes is a small pebbly cove flanked by boulders and craggy cliffs, while Tigaki is a long, sweeping stretch of sandy beach close to Kos Town with shallow shores, perfect for tiny paddling feet.

If it’s a beach break you’re after, you’ll find plenty of cheap holidays to Kos via the many different tour operators. The best bet is to search online and scour the many hundreds of deals available. It might seem like a chore but once you’ve whittled down the options according to your preferences, such as ideal departure date, local resort and board basis, it makes the process a little easier.

The best deals can usually be found on the websites of major tour operators. Take Thomas Cook for instance. As a company that’s been organising holidays for decades, they’re no stranger to putting trips together and will almost always have a great deal or a discount to help make the cost of your holiday that little bit more manageable. You can find Thomas Cook holidays online or on the high street. If price is really top of the priority list, try searching for a late deal – ideally those leaving within the next few weeks – as you’ll usually save a significant amount on the original price of the holiday.

Once you’ve booked, then all that’s left to do is pack, find your passports and head off for a week or two of fun in the sun. What could be better?

Blogging from a cloudy paradise, probably a tornado is coming, not much sunshine so only retail therapy can save my life!

So many things happened in the past few days that I haven’t actually had time to realise everything, arrived in Miami, went to Bahamas by boat (what a trauma!!!), came back early due to the horrible weather, in Miami again but the weather is not better than Bahamas plus the humidity is crazy….not much to do so we did hit the shops, Aventura mall and Bal Harbor ! In the next few days I will update you all with the pictures from Bimini, met nice people but shame we couldn’t enjoy it totally!!! Just about to hit downtown Miami for some sushi…bring it on!!

That’s what we were supposed to do in Bahamas, not coming back!

Bal Harbor mall, north miami

That’s the closest I will ever go to a pair of Louboutin shoes….

I had a dream….but I went for something for suitable for my pockets!

All the way around the island…in our mini car! Enjoyed the real Barbados! And now…back to Miami!

10 Jan

I apologize but in Barbados I had some wi fi trouble at the resort,so frustrating when 2 days ago I spent half an hour to write thw blog, reduce the pics and all that, ready to blog and I couldn’t! So… Back to Miami for a few days…but I’d like to show the post I wrote 2 days ago, shall we go back time? I hope you don’t mind!

8th January 2012

Feeling very tired and I start to feel my skin hitchy and a bit burnt from the strong Caribbean sun, but I still love here!!! Shame that tomorrow we are leaving the island, but we are going back to Miami so, it is not going to be that traumatic! Rented a car for the day and off we went to explore the island, we met a tour guide..allegedly…jumped in the car with us and went around with him, on saint Lucy to see were the Atlantic ocean touches the barbadian shores…went to see the goats and the Cowes overlooking the bay, saw the big mushroom rocks where once the sea was arriving inland…left him and lighter by 50 us dollars we went to the east coast and we ended up in a town called Bathsheba, a surfing paradise!!! Love it here so much…shall I let the picture to speak? Let’s go!

Buffalo soldier, dreadlock rasta, Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival; Driven from the mainland to the heart of the Caribbean…Barbados I love you!

Hello everyone,

Apparently I disappointed my mum because I didn’t post for a day…so I try to save myself with a last minute post before go out on a boat ride for the day!…well it was my plan but unfortunately the Wi-Fi wasn’t working today at the hotel!

So sorry about that…but for 2 days we didn’t have any wi fi at the resort, now finally it’s all sorted!

Loving the Barbados, loving the people, so friendly and so polite…the only thing is … there are too many Brits here and full English breakfast wasn’t my idea of a Caribbean breakfast!!!

Enjoy the pictures!!!
