Hello everyone,

I’m so sorry about not posting yesterday, I tried to, but at 9.30pm eastern time I was already asleep so I couldn’t do the blog, it doesn’t help the fact I haven’t got internet connection anymore in the condo!

We had an amazing new year’s eve, we had a very good meal at home (my husband cooked everything and it was so good!!!) , we went out walking up and down ocean drive that it was packed in a crazy way, thanks to the concert on the beach with Jason Derulo, Cee lo green and Gym class heroes!!

Yesterday was boating a lot, and today it was the same, we tried twice to go to Bimini (Bahamas) yesterday and today but half way I had a panic attack, too bumpy for me…so we ended up to go to Finnegans on the Miami river yesterday and down to gilbert’s in key largo today…it was good but now I’m kind of glad the boat is going back to Ft Lauderdale and we are going to Barbados in 2 days!!!!!  I’ll show you some pictures of the last few days…love you all and thanks for your support!!!

Living the American dream…a la Miami Vice… (With a bit of dizziness)

31 Dec

Hello everyone,

What a long and amazing day we had today! Been boating from Ft Lauderdale to South Beach on my husband’s boat…I’m still scared of the speed because I feel dizzy when the jump out of the water…but it was good, perfect sunshine, not too hot, not too cold…just great!

But shall I step back 24hours? Last night we went to our favourite local restaurant, Barceloneta in Purdy Avenue and the dinner was too good to be true! Gazpacho bloody mary, chorizo cooked in cider, langoustine in chocolate and tomatoes, risotto with sausage and mushrooms…and probably something else…Oh my I’m going to be so fat when we go back home! Stopped in Publix for a few bits and off to sleep, the jet lag is still affecting us a lot!

So Today it was a Donzi day, left the rental car and we got the boat…it was so good drive around South Beach and going up at down (at maximum speed 69 miles per hours…it was too bumpy if it was quicker for me!), and it was great see so close what I normally see from the balcony, downtown, the obelisk…we love Miami so much!!!!

Well. It’s the 30th December, at least here with the Eastern Time…so…if I don’t post tomorrow, happy New Year to everyone!!!!

With love

Relax, that’s what I needed!

7 Nov

I feel so lucky right now, the sun is shining, the breeze is lovely and being on my sun lounger overlooking downtown Miami with all its skyscrapers makes me want to scream for the joy…but I can’t do this because I have a bit of sore throat! Yesterday I sunbathed by the pool, went out for some shopping and I ended up walking for more than 2 hours (why go to the gym? Go walking!) went back home, cooked myself dinner and I nearly passed out on the sofa, by 10pm I was in bed, that’s why today I feel good to enjoy my day in the sunshine! I have not spoken with anyone since yesterday, sometimes it’s quite nice just shut up and relax!

Miami beach… I heart you!!

The sun goes down, behind Downtown

11 Sep

Saturday was another crazy and busy day, been in the sun for 3 hours and my face has the same shade of a brown wooden floor…!

What a busy day, breakfast at Starbucks, DIY shopping at ace hardware, sunbathing for 3 hours and after more than 3 hours DIY… The Ikea kitchen is like making a massive puzzle! After some hours we decided to go out as usual, it’s weekend at the end of the day! Shopping for Kim at Atrium, aperitif at the Shore Club… I love the Morgan’s Hotel Group as you can understand, and our dinner tonight was Mexican, at Rosa Mexicano, on top of Lincoln Road where it meets Alton Road, what at experience again and what a nice dinner! The lady with the mobile guacamole station made my day as well, food was good! Probably at the end of this vacation I won’t have nothing to write about plus I will be so fat!!! Today more DIY for Kim and lots of sunshine and reading for my by the pool, enjoy your Sunday!
