I haven’t felt that happy and satisfied for a while. I mean, workwise. I have finally pulled myself together and I have followed my dreams and now my perseverance is paying off. I am so proud to announce that Anna has created Italian Wedding in Wonderland…I even designed the website on my own! I feel so pleased with myself and I am so happy that at the moment I have two lovely clients who are helping me every day to build the strength to carry on and do what I really want to do, be an Italian wedding planner.
If you want to have a look at my website, this is the address
Any comment, positive or even negative will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot to all my readers…Buena Suerte to me!!!
I feel completely disorientated and a bit empty right now, my best friend came to visit and we spent nearly four days together 24/7 and now that she has gone back to Italy I feel…strange, and I feel that something is missing in my life. Me and my best friend Anna (so easy we even share a name!) have been best friends for nearly five years and of course with the fact that nearly four years ago I moved abroad the friendship has grown even stronger but probably because we are used to see each other not very often when I fly back home now spending a few days together doing everything, shopping, cooking, drinking, laughing, even gardening…now that she is not is here I feel so confused. The soundtrack of our days was Unapologetic from Rihanna and I do know that my Anna shines bright like a diamond in the sky!
Countdown to Christmas has started…only a month away and I cannot wait to go back to celebrate with my family (and Anna) and I can’t wait to celebrate my Christmas on Boxing day with my husband ( I need help with presents please I am absolutely stuck!) and I can’t wait even more to go away again on the 27th December…have a good weekend you all!
I had such a great weekend away in the Cotswolds, for who doesn’t know anything about:
The Cotswolds are a range of hills in southwestern and west-central England, an area 25 miles across and 90 miles long. The area has been designated as the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where every weekend lots of people from London go there to enjoy the countryside and to relax from the chaotic city, so we left on Saturday morning to visit a couple of our friends and their children who own a lovely cottage there and we had so much fun….I must admit despite the cold weather!!! I think I have fallen in love hard….for the little 4 months old daughter of our friends…
Pub lunch, walking in the fields, endless glass of red wine in front of the fire, pheasant for dinner…a visit to the animal farm, a visit to the most gorgeous farm shop ever (Daylesford)…a long drive back from Oxford to home…it was a great weekend!!!
Let’s add some gossip to spice up this post…famous celebrities own houses in the Cotswolds, including Kate Moss, Hugh Grant, Elizabeth Hurley, Lily Allen, J K Rowling, Stella McCartney and so on… The first time I went there was the day after Kate Moss got married and I spotted John Galliano walking around the town of Burford, I started to scream in the car when I saw him and very embarrassed he hid himself in the cook shop!
This morning when the alarm went off at 10.30 I thought…where am I? oh yes I flew back Monday night and here I am, back in England, trying to adjust my body back to Greenwich Time but still thinking on Eastern time! The choice was to come back from Miami Monday night or Friday night, despite how much I love spend time there it was getting too much to take for my on my own, gorgeous place, gorgeous weather but solo…it is not good!
I am back and I am so happy that my best friend is coming to visit next week that I can’t contain myself with joy, that’s why my Christmas present comes early! A full on 3 days of Anna & Anna, we really have a lot to catch up! And do not forget today is my 4th year anniversary with my husband, 4 years together … let’s celebrate!!!
I have never seen so many people dressed up ready to have fun just up and down the street with the best costumes/fancy dress ever…I have seen a mad hatter that looked better than Jonny Depp in Alice in Wonderland, I have seen a few Dictators, lots of Wonder woman, snow white, sexy nurse and policewoman….even a guy dressed as a sofa!!!! Lincoln Road in South Beach was busier than in New year’s eve and I loved to see the people just enjoying themselves, taking pictures with each other, having a dance and a drink….I love Miami even more as usual!!! I am going to show you some pictures right now and for sure next year I will have a proper costume and not just horror make up on!!! xxx
